MERRIAM, KANSAS (October 4, 2011) – The City of Merriam is teaming up with the Johnson County North Central Multi-Service Center, and sponsoring a “Feed the Need” community food and fund drive during the month of October. Donations received through the drive will help feed those in need throughout our community.Donation bins can be found at City Hall & Merriam Fire Department (9000 W. 62nd Terrace), Merriam Police Department (9010 W. 62nd Street), at the Irene B. French Community Center (5701 Merriam Drive), and the Merriam Public Works Department (6901 Knox). Donation bins can also be found at Baron Automotive Group (9010 Shawnee Mission Parkway).
Your contribution means much needed help, and hope, will be available to those in need.

Boxed meals (Hamburger Helper, Pasta Roni)
Canned meats/tuna

* Product donations should be boxed, bagged or canned. To avoid breakage, do not donate products in glass containers.
Financial Contributions:
For every $1 donated, the Johnson County North Central Multi-Service Center can provide five meals!

Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
· Sealed Bid, Silent Auction – Wednesday, Oct. 19th through Friday, Oct. 21st
Location: Merriam City Hall Community Room (upper level),
Hours: Open between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm Wed – Thurs, and 8 am to noon on Friday
